jerked his head to the side before their lips could touch. He licked up the column of the waiter’s throat and bit lightly. “I don’t do that.”
    “What do you want then?”
Nick bit the guy’s neck again and sucked briefly. “I want you to strip. Then get on the bed, face down, ass up.”
“Do you have anything?” the waiter asked. “I have condoms in my wallet if—”
“Yeah, I’ve got you. Just take off your clothes.”
Nick shrugged out of his stifling tuxedo jacket, threw it aside without a care as to where it landed, and went over to his bags to collect the stuff they’d need from one of the inside pockets. Luckily, he never went anywhere without condoms and lube. It’d become a habit to keep some in his bags when he traveled just for situations like these. Even when he was drunk as hell, as he was close to being now, he never forgot.
The waiter had stripped down to his briefs by the time Nick got back to the bed. He took the supplies from Nick and tossed them onto the mattress, then shimmied out of the tiny scrap of material as Nick went to work on the buttons of his own shirt. Nick let his shirt fall to the floor and started undoing his belt as the waiter got up onto the bed and settled on his hands and knees. The guy’s cock was hard and a pretty shade of brown, just like the rest of him. As Nick watched, he rested his head on one of the pillows, face turned toward Nick, his ass up high, and his thighs spread wide.
“I like your tattoos,” he murmured, reaching down between his legs to take his erection in hand.
“Thanks,” Nick said distantly. His pants and boxers joined his shirt on the floor. He kicked them both away from his feet, not even bothering to take his socks off before he got up onto the bed. He knelt behind the waiter and spread the guy’s legs farther apart with his own, then pressed down on the small of his back with one hand until the waiter was positioned just the way he wanted. “Stay just like that.”
Nick grabbed the lube and prepped the guy with efficient skill. He didn’t linger, but he didn’t rush it either. When the guy was moaning and pushing back into his touch, Nick withdrew his fingers so he could slip on a condom.
“Do you mind it rough?” he asked as he slicked up the latex.
“Hell, no,” the waiter replied in a breathless voice.
“Good. ’Cause that’s the only way I fuck.”

When Nick woke up the waiter was gone and the mansion was silent. A quick glance at his cell showed that it was five in the morning. He dropped the phone onto the nightstand and reached for the bottle of vodka, which was still sitting there unopened. He twisted off the top and took a long swig. It felt like fire going down, but Nick kept chugging anyway. By the time he put the bottle back, a quarter of it was gone. It was then that he noticed the napkin that had been resting beneath it. There was a name and number scrawled across the bottom in blue ink. Nick didn’t even bother to read it. Like the liquor and the blow, the waiter had been nothing more than a temporary distraction. He wasn’t interested in more.
Nick crumpled the napkin into a ball and tossed it somewhere across the room. He figured he could catch a few more hours of sleep before people started waking up and he was forced to face his brother and Jesse again. It would be a lot harder without the booze and the drugs to distract him, but Nick would deal with that later. He reached for one of the pillows that surrounded him and shoved it under his head. Much, much later.
