she could tell he felt the heat just as much as she did. As weird as it was that a celebrity was feeling that way about her, a normal woman in a small, remote town.
But she was sure now. She knew it with a clarity that shouldn’t have been possible, since her mom never spoke of it.
It wasn’t just her that wanted him. Her bear wanted him.

S he tested her foot , wondering if it felt well enough for what her body wanted so badly to do. She didn’t know when she’d have Riley Hart in her bed like this again, looking at her like she was a tasty dinner and he was starving.
The foot felt okay. Infinitely better than last night, due to the compression bandage Riley had applied that took down the swelling. And the ice.
She guessed it was a mild sprain, if that. She’d go to the doctor just in case, but she figured it wouldn’t hurt too much to have a little taste of Riley Hart.
She could see hesitation in his eyes as she reached for him. But only a little. The heat she felt was definitely reflected there in those greenish depths, and the corner of his mouth tipped up in a smirk.
    “Feeling it too?” he asked.
She nodded, feeling warmth moving into her face and neck. Oh, the things he could do to her.
    “How’s the leg?” he asked.
    She swallowed. “It’s fine.”
    He raised an eyebrow. “Seriously?
She laughed, a hoarse sound since she felt so tense and aroused. “Relatively.”
    “I’ll be careful,” he said.
She nodded. “You did promise. And I’m no longer drunk.”
He scooted closer. “I wouldn’t want to take advantage.” He ran his tongue over his delicious lower lip, wetting it.
She reached out and hooked an arm around his neck. “I won’t forgive you if you don’t.”
“I’m not looking for a commitment,” he said nervously.
“Neither am I,” she whispered against his ear. He stiffened and rose up to his full height, looking down at her like he didn’t quite believe her.
She gave him a sultry smile that seemed to calm his doubts.
“All right, then,” he said. And then he drew forward, put a hand at the base of her head, and kissed her.
Riley’s kiss was even better than she’d remembered. Sober, it had a ragged, hard edge to it. Like her heart was protesting her having this level of pleasure if it wasn’t going to be long term.
Well, it could be sort of long term, since he’d presumably be staying in Bearstone Park for a little while.
Her bear grumbled at the thought of him not staying forever, but she knew better than her bear that people just didn’t stick around. Not for her. Not men.
The kiss went on, and damn did Riley Hart know how to kiss. His tongue swept through her mouth like a gentle summer storm, whirling up emotion inside her. She opened deeply, and he took all she had to offer. His hands stroked softly up and down her shoulders. Big hands, that knew just how to hold her.
Somehow, even casual kissing with him felt like something more.
He lifted the soft, blue shirt she was wearing and pulled it off to reveal the black lacy bra she’d had on the night before. Strapless, with lots of cleavage. She heard him suck in his breath at the sight and squirmed as she tried to get her pants off. She wanted him inside her as soon as possible. She had a feeling Riley Hart was definitely packing some heat.
He looked down at what she was doing and then hooked his hands in the waistband of her pants and pulled them off in one smooth motion, being careful of her foot. Not that she could feel pain right now if she wanted to. Her body was on fire with want.
    On fire with need.
He looked down at her, naked except for her black, lacy thong and black, lacy bra. She arched her back sensuously. She knew men liked her curvy hourglass body. Regardless of what magazines said or showed, she was sexually experienced enough to know that men could appreciate warm, feminine softness in the bedroom.
She looked up at him as he knelt at the foot of the bed, looking over her body with
