stood in the doorway with her head lowered, waiting for his next direction.
“From now on, you’ll remove your shoes and jacket and place
them in the foyer closet before entering any other parts of the house.”
She nodded.
“This is not a room where you may speak freely,” he
continued. “Of course, you can always safe word if you don’t like where I’m
taking things, but as long as you enter my home on time on Friday evenings, you
