    The damn shifter was right between my knees. Deacon
smiled and put his arm over my leg and shifted the car into gear.
There was nothing sexual about his movements, but I found it hard
to breathe. When he shifted into second gear, his elbow brushed
underneath my skirt and I bit my lip. Desire flooded through
me.
    Obviously, the alcohol was doing things to me. How
could I have this kind of response to an older man? Deacon had to
