his cock even harder.
He entered the boy slowly, at first watching for any signs of discomfort as he fucked him more gently than he had since this started. When Jace was moaning enough for Tomcat to know there was no pain, he buried his face against the boy’s neck, his hair, let the boy hold him as they both came in a shuddering rush, and he wondered what the fuck he’d been thinking, getting this close to someone.
An hour later he sat, showered and fully dressed, on the edge of the bed, while Jace lay there naked, taunting him.
He couldn’t go there again, no matter how much he wanted to. Had to get Jace out of here and out of the MC, for both their sakes. The time for fun was over—the serious discussion needed to start. “You walked into the middle of something you weren’t supposed to. You need to stop courting danger.”
“I like riding,” Jace told him.
“Find yourself another group. A legal one. Get your SEAL buddies together. You’re going to get yourself kicked out of the military—or worse.”
“I’m not in the military because I like safe or easy,” Jace pointed out as he got off the bed and tugged his jeans on.
“You can shower if you want,” Tomcat offered, and Jace gave him a small smile.
“I want to smell you on me for a while.”
Jesus Christ, he almost came in his pants. He looked away and heard Jace’s laughter, even as he asked, “What happens now?”
“You go away on your mission, and you don’t come back to the MC. Anyone questions you, say your CO threatened your ass,” Tomcat said, knowing that wasn’t the question Jace wanted answered at all.
    “You trust me, right?”
Tomcat stared. “I don’t trust anyone.”
“That’s great.” Jace blew out a frustrated breath. “Well, you’re welcome for saving your ass.”
Tomcat nodded, opened his mouth to say something flip about Jace’s ass but the look in the boy’s eyes…
No, Tomcat could deny that something happened between them to everyone but himself. “You’ll be safe if you stay away.”
    “What about you?”
He was about to say, “Don’t worry about me,” but instead he told the boy, “I’ll be all right. If you wait half an hour, some agents will come by to make sure you get home safely.”
“I don’t need the CIA to escort me out,” Jace said irritably. “Plus, then they’ll have to know shit. Just tell them you figured it out. This way, you’ll owe me.”
“How do you plan on collecting?”
“More weekends like this one,” Jace told him. Left out the side door and somehow disappeared like smoke down the fire escape into the early-morning darkness.
And the room was empty and cold again, the way it had been for years.

Chapter Five
Tomcat had spent his time shuffling back and forth between the MC gig and helping Styx with his problems, which included gunning down the man’s father, a known assassin, right after Jace had left.
Styx and his old lover, Law, had been in witness protection with Law’s current boyfriend, Paulo. And while they’d had their share of good sex, from what Styx told him, they’d also all fallen in love. With Tomcat’s help, they’d gotten rid of Styx’s father, and now Styx could live a life free of the CIA for the first time in nearly sixteen years.
So Styx was safe—and back with the old love of his life as well as a new one. Styx was the happiest Tomcat had ever seen him—and since he was happy, he decided Tomcat needed to be just as happy.
“He’s too young,” Tomcat told Styx on his cell now as he drove his truck to meet his Killers contact, wishing he’d never confided about Jace to him. A weak moment, a sappy-as-hell moment, actually, when he’d confessed how Jace made him feel…and more. Since then, Styx had been on him about it, wanting to know if he planned on seeing the boy when he returned from whatever far-flung place the SEALs had him in.
“Then why are you still in contact?” Styx asked.
    “It’s just texting.”
